BLADDER INFECTIONS

A very common condition affecting especially women of all ages, an much less frequently, men who are having prostate problems. The symptoms can include painful and frequent urination, blood in the urine, a change in odor of the urine, and occasionally, fever.

INTERSTITIAL CYSTITIS (IC)

Poorly understood and inadequately diagnosed condition afflicting millions of women (and few men). Typically, a woman diagnosed and treated for bladder infection does not improve. Symptoms include: urgency, frequency, and pain in the bladder, pelvis, or with sexual activity and the need to urinate during the night.
